After two years of postponement, we are delighted to announce that the 19th Congress of the WPA Epidemiology and Public Health Section will now be scheduled to commence in Marrakech, Morocco on 12-14 October 2022.
The theme of the Congress – “Learning from diversities across the world: implications for psychiatric epidemiology” – aims to illuminate research in psychiatric epidemiology in a North/South perspective, including topics on intra-continent migration, suicide and suicidal behaviours in developing and developed regions, as well as the burden of childhood trauma in wars and collective trauma. We will also award The Michele Tansella Award during the Congress.
